YOGA FOR YOUNG WOMEN

PROJECT PRACTICE 'Yoga for Young Women' is an initiative set up by Francesca Hopkins that supports girls and young women to live to their fullest potential by utilising the practice of yoga that calms the nerves and stabilises the mind.

PROJECT PRACTICE yoga classes introduce participants to beginner level yoga postures and breathing techniques and explores basic anatomy and physiology principles that are relevant to the benefits of yoga practice.

PROJECT PRACTICE strives to provide young women with a calm state of being and enables feelings of security and peacefulness within themselves.

Within the calm state of being, participants are supported to make thoughtful decisions that contribute positively to well-being and happiness.

PROJECT PRACTICE utilises yoga because of the opportunity for participants to move their bodies mindfully, breathe freely, harmonise their bodily systems and stabilise their emotions. All of this facilitates presence, focus and relaxation.

PROJECT PRACTICE is for young women of all shapes and capabilities to learn calming techniques.
